I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving spending time with their loved ones and ate so much you had to loosen your pants! I had Thanksgiving lunch - and then at work later that evening had another Thanksgiving feast. I decided to make the same pumpkin spiced cupcakes and chocolate pumpkin cupcakes as well as pumpkin whoopie pies.

What an almost perfectly shaped dome.

My Thanksgiving decorated cupcakes - in celebration of the fall foliage. Decorated on top of the cream cheese frosting was my trees made of chocolate and the multicolored leaves were made of royal icing. This definitely took a lot of time but I think it was well worth it because they look so pretty! Almost too pretty to eat… I said ALMOST.

Pumpkin whoopie pies with cream cheese filling.

My Thanksgiving desserts. :) Not enough for a dessert table but I am surely getting there! Everyone was skeptic about tasting the pumpkin cupcakes but I made them take some home and everyone loved them! Glad I was able to change some people’s minds.

trying out a recipe for pumpkin whoopie pie! it’s like having a cupcake sandwich. lol
You know there canNOT be any event that I go to without baking some cupcakes! — had to celebrate with these babiesssssss.
So I made coconut w. chocolate chip cupcakes appropriately decorated with the Philippine’s flags for our national hero. =)
